Our standards

No miracles. Receipts for everything.

How we choose places and products, how health content is written and reviewed, and what we'll never do.

How we choose

Every place, product and recommendation earns its spot on merit, with one honest reason written beside it. Nobody pays to be picked. If we ever sell a placement it's labeled "Sponsored" in plain sight, and never in health categories.

How health content is reviewed

  • Anything about medication, hormones, testing, sexual health, mental health, supplements' effects or recovery treatments is clinical.
  • A clinical piece is finished only when a qualified clinician (a physician, pharmacist, registered dietitian, licensed therapist or equivalent, in their own field) has reviewed it. Their name, credentials and the review date appear at the top.
  • Until then the piece says, at the top, that it's awaiting review, and it's kept out of search engines.
  • Reviews are repeated at least once a year, and whenever the evidence or regulation changes.

Evidence

We cite sources beside the claim, prefer systematic reviews, clinical guidelines and regulators over single studies, and say when the evidence is thin. We describe what something can do for some people, never what it will do for you.

What we'll never do

  • Sell, prescribe or dispense medication, or link to compounded GLP-1 offers.
  • Claim that a product or treatment treats, cures or prevents a disease.
  • Use before-and-after shock images, countdown timers or fake scarcity.
  • Help anyone obtain unapproved drugs. Where we write about them, it's harm reduction.
  • Treat anyone's body as a problem to be fixed.

Corrections

When we get something wrong we fix it, and say what changed and when, at the bottom of the piece. Tell us at hello@fitnessjesus.com.

How we make money

Affiliate commissions and, in time, fees for introductions to partners: never for placement, never in health content. The details.
