Fitness Jesus ("we", "us") runs fitnessjesus.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and what you can ask of us. Questions go to hello@fitnessjesus.com.
What we collect today
- Your email, when you join Sunday Service. Plus the page you signed up on and any campaign tags in the link that brought you.
- Trial requests. When you ask to try a studio, gym or practitioner through us: your name, email, optional phone, preferred times, goal and note. We share these with that business, and only that business, to arrange your visit, and the form says who it is before you send it. We never ask about your health on these forms.
- Clicks to other sites. When you follow a link from us to a studio's booking page or a shop, we note which link, the page you were on and the day, with the same daily one-way visitor code as above (nothing at all if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control). It's how we show partners what we send them.
- Anything you choose to send us through a form or by email.
- Usage, without cookies. When a page loads, our server notes the page, the site that sent you, campaign tags, your country and device type. Visitors are counted with a one-way code that changes every day and can't be traced back to you. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we record nothing at all and load no analytics script.
- One preference cookie if you pick a light or dark theme. That's the only cookie we set (see Cookies).
We don't run advertising pixels, sell personal information, or share it for targeted advertising. We never will for anything you tell us about your health.
The Consultation and your account
- Your Consultation answers: how you train, when, your budget, your city and neighborhood, and, if you go deeper, how you eat and what you'd like help with. They're saved as you go so you can resume, and they're used to compose your plan.
- Health answers (injuries, sleep, stress, alcohol, and interest in things like hormones or medication) are consumer health data. We ask only with your explicit consent and store them encrypted. They have their own policy: consumer health data privacy.
- Your account: your email (or your Apple sign-in, which may be a private relay address), your name if you give it, your plans, what you save, and any alerts you turn on (we email you about new intro offers until you turn them off).
Why we use it
- To send Sunday Service, which you can leave from any email in one click.
- To pass your trial request to the business you chose, and confirm it to you.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To understand which pages and guides are useful, in aggregate.
- To keep out spam and abuse (rate limits and, where switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile).
Who helps us
Our site, database and analytics run on Cloudflare. Our customer-relationship system, which holds subscriber details and sends our newsletter, is our own application, also hosted on Cloudflare. Booking confirmations and trial requests are sent by email through Resend. When you request a trial, the business you chose receives your request. Each provider handles data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Sign-ups, enquiries and trial requests are kept in this site's database for two years after they arrive, and in our customer-relationship system while you're subscribed. Anonymous usage records are deleted after 25 months; click records lose their daily visitor code after 25 months and remain only as counts. A Consultation you didn't save to an account is deleted, with its plan, 120 days after your last answer. Everything in an account stays until you delete it.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, and unsubscribe at any time. Email hello@fitnessjesus.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Residents of California, Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone. We won't treat you differently for using them.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page and, if you're subscribed, in Sunday Service before the change takes effect.
