What to expect
Sign up alone or with friends. Seasons are 6–8 weeks plus playoffs; games are 45–60 minutes, mostly weeknights. Flag your skill level at sign-up.
What it costs
Most NYC leagues $100–$165 per player, one payment. Fall listings seen: $109–$180 per player (e.g. Williamsburg basketball $109, Chelsea Piers soccer $145). Drop-ins 'start lower' but no price published. Volo Pass $35/month.
